Actress Tilda Swinton attends the “South Of The Border” Premiere at the Sala Grande during the 66th Venice Film Festival on September 7, 2009 in Venice, Italy.  Swinton couldn’t look more natural in this abbreviated khaki tuxedo outfit by Celine Resort 2010.  The actress was in fine form from the minute she landed in Venice for the Film Festival last week keeping a restrained color palette for her public appearances.

The previous night  Tilda attended the “Capitalism: A Love Story” premiere at the Sala Grande in a wool jersey dress by Lanvin.  Her ethereal pallor was tenfold with her new platinum hair color.  She wore an update of her trademark white suit for the Io Sono L’Amore photocall and a complimentary white sheath dress to the premiere that evening.  We are huge Tilda Swinton fans (well, I am) but I understand her taste isn’t always palatable.  What do you think of her choices this week?

Hathaway Charms In Italy

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008

Anne Hathaway attended the ‘Rachel Getting Married’ film premiere during the 65th Venice Film Festival on Wednesday. The actress hit a rough spot earlier this year but last night she glided across the red carpet looking graceful and swan-like in a cascading grey – aqua gown and simple gold accessories. One can imagine the mixed emotions she might have experienced spending time on the soil upon which her controversial beau, Raffaello Follieri was raised. Perhaps her nervous energy can be spied at the premiere. She snugged up to director Jonathan Demme, corralled her ruffles, spazzed out in her seat, and obliged fans with photos. See Anne be a good sport.
