Actress Eliza Dushku (pronounced like push) is on the promotion circuit for her new series, Dollhouse, airing on the Fox Network on February 13th. In addition to starring in the sci-fi tinged show she is also the executive producer. She visited the Apple Store Soho on February 10th with series creator Joss Whedon with whom she worked on Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
This morning the 28 year old sex symbol charmed the staff at The Howard Stern Show, enlightening listeners on her brother’s childhood advice: “nobody likes a whore”. This mantra has kept her out of trouble, though she’s always up for “a kiss and cuddle”. She admitted to a “party past”, but has since curbed drinking and partying ways. When probed to reveal her ultimate man, she said she doesn’t date actors, but admitted having a slight daddy complex, listing George Clooney and Robert Downey Jr. as the sexiest guys in Hollywood. Is there a role for her in Ironman 2? She knows Russian!

Maureen McCormick, known to most of us as the the oldest Brady sister, has written a tell-all memoir Here’s the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice detailing the vast discrepencies between her idealized TV character and her own troubled girlhood. Now that her daughter Natalie is 19, The former Brady star may have found an appropriate time to air her darker secrets such as her post Brady participation in the cocaine fueled LA party scene where she trading sex for drugs and romped at the Playboy Mansion. An object of boyhood crushes, Maureen dated TV brother Barry Williams, Michael Jackson and Steve Martin (she is pictured above right at a Steve Martin performance in 1977). The book reveals how her drug use negatively affected her acting career and describes her battle against an eating disorder, depression and anxiety, all of which have since been conquered. Paris Hilton’s My New BFF premiered on MTV Tuesday night… and it was HOT. Sixteen Paris Hilton BFF potentials made their débuts and by the end of the first episode 5 had already been sent home. After the cuts, Paris said goodbye until next week stating “Okay I have to get back to my life now”. I know many of you are rolling your eyes or gagging over your keyboard but Paris is definitely a busy woman. While she is “famous for being famous” she is also a businesswoman, movie/TV star, singer, entertainer, fashion designer, model, author and more. People love to hate her and people hate to love her. Stay tuned for more of Paris’ BFF search where she hopes to find someone who loves her just as much as she loves herself…which may prove to be a real challenge.

Estelle Getty, Known by most of the world as Sophia Petrillo on The Golden Girls, died today at at her home in Santa Monica California, three days short of her 85th birthday. She got her feet wet at the Yiddish Theater and later went on to play Harvey Fierstein’s mother in Torch Song Trilogy. It wasn’t until 1985, as the matriarch on The Golden Girls, that she became a household name. Long Live Sophia!

While ABC’s hit show Desperate Housewives is known for its weekly hour of drama, drama, drama, off the set it seems these ladies really do get along. Constantly seen laughing, hugging and joking together at numerous events, it is nice to see their working relationships are playful as well. Madonna turns out in style as she exits CBS studios in New York City for her appearance on BETs 106th and Park, airing on May 2nd. Hilarity is likely to ensue as hosts Terrence and Rosci plan to do yoga poses and dance moves, before The Material Girl’s critical eye. Madonna’s new video, 4 minutes featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, will also premiere. Ciccone’s look is uptown all the way: savvy, a little tough and, of course glamorous. Her thigh boots, exaggerated gold chains and fur coat beg for a cane and fedora.
