Back to brunette, Selma Blair (in Oscar de la Renta) chose to debut her new hair color at the premiere of Purple Violets at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. In recent months, Blair has sheered off her trademark long brunette hair to an edgy asymmetrically bob (courtesy of the legendary Garren) which she debuted at the Pan’s Labyrinth premiere in Los Angeles, then at the Marc by Marc Jacobs fall 2007 fashion show in London, Blair went even shorter with a peroxide pixie cut that highlighted her swanlike neckline. In age of cookie cutter blondes and loose curls, Blair gets four stars for originality and willingness to try daring beauty trends.
