Azure was on everyone’s mind at the Alberta Ferretti Flagship Store Opening on Melrose Avenue hosted by Alberta Ferretti, Marisa Tomei, Lucy Liu, Ellen Pompeo and Vogue at the Alberta Ferretti Store in West Hollywood, California.  Hosts and guests alike, incorporated blue into their ensembles last night.  Nicky Hilton, Nicole Richie and January Jones took the monochromatic approach and wore black or white while stylist Rachel Zoe and Natalie Zea braved the contrasting palette of rust.  Are color guidelines given on these party invites?  Which lovely lady wore blue the best:  Lucy Liu, Marissa Tomei, Sanaa Lathan or Emmy Rossum?  Marissa Tomei takes the cake on this one.

Nicky Hilton showed a collection of sweet day dresses and separates for her Chick by Nicky Hilton line for spring 2008 at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios in Culver City, California. The super 70’s collection included breezy short sleeve jackets, rompers, and dresses featuring swan and heart print motifs or as they were seen on high-waisted jeans encrusted with Swarovski crystals. Her own best model, Hilton, received pink roses from long time boyfriend David Katzenberg during her post-show bow. Who can think of a better accessory for spring?

With a fashion show at Pure, dinner party at Social House Restaurant, Miss Hilton is rivaling her sister, Paris, for social butterfly award. Paris always mixes business with pleasure, Nicky followed suit bringing boyfriend David Katzenberg along for the ride.
