Reese Witherspoon (In Dolce & Gabbana) and Jake Gyllenhaal attended a photocall for their movie Rendition at the Rome Film Festival in Italy. Witherspoon and Gyllenhall have purposely been standing a few feet away from one another during photo opportunities to squash recent rumors that the co-stars have been dating. Jake Gyllenhaal (L), director Gavin Hood and actress Reese Witherspoon posed carefully at the after-party for the premiere of New Line Cinema’s Rendition at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Bevery Hills. The rumored couple was reportedly “…doing their own thing…They did not even talk to each other at the post-reception except [for] when a photographer pulled them together for a picture with the director—and he was standing in between them,” as reported by usmagazine.com. The onlooker elaborated, “You know how actors are who are in projects together — they always go up to each other and say, ‘It’s so good to see you!’ For actors to not talk to each other, they have to either hate each other — which they don’t — or they’re hiding something.”
