Actress Christina Ricci and Comedian beau, Owen Benjamin are reportedly tying the knot in the upcoming year.   They were spotted yesterday, looking cutely oblivious while shopping in Studio City, Ca.  It has been three years since Ricci split from boyfriend Adam Goldberg though it feels like it was just yesterday.  Benjamin and Ricci met during the filming of All’s Faire in Love.  Both actors come from opposite ends of the vertical spectrum. If anyone was curious, there is a full foot in a half height difference between the two.

Though Jim Carrey was the man of the hour, on hand for the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Yes Man’ in which he stars, it was his girlfriend Jenny McCarthy, who stole the spotlight in a glamorous curled hairdo and curve grazing dress.  McCarthy and Carrey’s blue on black ensembles complimented each other as much as their chiseled good looks and comedic sense do.  The old Hollywood take on beauty reigns on the red carpet these days and McCarthy proves she can wear the aesthetic well.

No matter what you think of Howard Stern, he is an undeniably entertaining interviewer. Fall Out Boy, Pete Wentz was a guest on the satellite radio show this morning where he candidly discussed his past self-medication for anxiety, playing Russian roulette with a loaded gun, his flirtation with bi-sexuality, and answered questions about dating Michelle Trachtenberg and Lindsay Lohan.  He called Trachtenberg a “good girl” and said Lohan is the happiest she has ever been, dating Samantha Ronson, but sidestepped revealing anything about their fling saying he was in too much of an Ambien haze at the time of their relationship to recall details.  He spoke lovelingly of wife Ashlee Simpson (also a “good girl”), describing her lapdancing skills, and was very diplomatic regarding Papa Joe Simpson, and sister-in-law Jessica.  He gave listeners some nuggets about his reaction to Simpson’s Blender Magazine photos, the birthing process of his son Bronx-Mowgli and a moment in the mirror at the SoHo Grand Hotel.

Recently separated couple, David Duchovny and Tea Leoni were anything but jolly taking in the Detroit Pistons vs New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden on Sunday. The couple split months ago after Duchovny entered treatment for sex addiction and was later rumored to have strayed into the arms of a Californication extra. I imagine that these two either had old season tickets or they came together for the sake of their children, Madelaine and Kyd.  Either way it seems like palpable tension was not limited to the court.  Perhaps they were just discussing the Knicks’ offensive tactics?

Actor and New Kid On The Block, Donnie Wahlberg celebrated his 39th birthday at Jet Nightclub At The Mirage in Las Vegas on August 16th. Just days prior to his pyrotechnic birthday party, he and his wife of nine years, Kim Fey each filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. The newly reformed New Kids On The Block embark on an international tour in the fall.  It will probably be a fun one for Donnie.
