Tashirojima Island, 15km from Ishinomaki, Japan is the home of over 100 cats per about 70 residents. These lucky cats eat, sleep and lounge all over the island as the residents adore cats for promising good haul. The image above is a lodge designed by manga artist Tetsuya Chiba at Manga Land on Tashirojima Island.
