Hologram hype: Which Freddie Mercury would you want to see?

May 14, 2012 | By Maria Dias | Archive, Entertainment

By now, you’ve probably heard that Queen will be bringing back Freddie Mercury — via optical illusion — for a May 14 performance of the West End musical, “We Will Rock You,” by way of a technique similar to what was used at Coachella in homage to Tupac Shakur.

While this has people wondering which deceased entertainers will surface next (and which ones will sell the most records), what I want to know is: Which Freddie will appear on stage (long hair? mustached?) and what will he be wearing? I’m not sure if any deceisions have been made as of yet, but — in case the powers that be are reading this — here are a few of my favorite Freddie Mercury images, if only for the sake of inspiration.
