What was the brief for the shoot?
Peter: To capture the nudity, vitality and beauty of a mature woman, in a daylight environment.

What was the inspiration/guiding idea?
Peter: It was to make a woman comfortable with nudity. No make-up, no extra styling, shooting in poses where finally she is nude but “not”, as well as a workout and stretching session shot with a reportage approach.

What did you like most about the final result?
Peter: I liked that Ines looked very much herself, and that she likes these new pictures also. This reassures me that I have found the right approach.

Simply beautiful photograph. Elegant, genuine, perfectly lit and full of amazing character. “Imperfections” are perfection.

This IS a beautiful shot. As a woman 20 years into her adult life, I am the approximate age of this woman represented and I cannot help but question why in the world do we refer to a 40 something woman as “mature”. I personally think of mature as being my mothers age – 60+. I think our society, and our media really need to take a hard look at our obsession with what entails beauty + perfection. I see this woman in pure bliss, joy + confidence.
