’60s London cool: Iconic Jean Shrimpton

Jean Shrimpton was one of the original ’60s supermodels and one of the most famous faces of London’s cool. So it’s no wonder she still inspires blogs and articles like these in The Guardian and the Daily Mail … not to mention an original television movie airing soon.

As a one off biopic “We’ll Take Manhattan (co-produced by Ovation and the BBC) will air soon in the UK examining her relationship with fashion photographer David Bailey, our Archive team has put together this look back – through the lenses of Terry O’Neill, Donovan, Duffy and more. Enjoy!
