Auto show gets people talking, dreaming, dancing
Cue the dancers. As the 2012 North American International Auto Show prepares to open its doors to the general public in Detroit (Jan. 14-22), automotive enthusiasts are pouring over photos like these, offering a glimpse into what we’ll be driving in the future.
CBS News today is featuring a terrific photo gallery of some of the show’s highlights, while Canada’s National Post and the UK’s beloved show TopGear are also weighing in on what to get excited about in the year ahead.
But how will the virtues of these vehicles be expressed to tomorrow’s consumers? Earlier this year we heard from Vasillios Alexiou, the Creative Director for Less Rain, who counted an interactive film for Land Rover, ”Being Henry,” among his favorite projects. Will this be the future of automotive advertising? Only time will tell.
