At Getty Images, it is our goal not only to provide inspiration, but to give our creative community the tools to deliver their own inspiring work.

That’s why we were proud to be the image sponsor of Advertising Age’s 2011 Global Cover Competition for young creatives.

Each June, Advertising Age magazine publishes a global issue focusing on international advertising and marketing, and invites young creatives (30 years old or younger) to design a cover that conveys a global theme.

As the official image sponsor, Getty Images gave competitors free access to our image library and allowed designers to manipulate the images to create their own art.

The magazine’s June 13 issue featured this year’s winning cover, a brilliant kaleidoscope of some of the world’s most recognizable brands. Congratulations to Nguyen An Hoa, Nguyen Tuong Luan and Do Duy Thien of Grey Group in Vietnam for this compelling design – as you can see here, it does a great job of illustrating a world connected by brands.

While this year’s winners did not use Getty Images content in their entry, several finalists did, and we’d like to share with you here just what can be achieved when our content meets creative force.
