Matching All Around For Mr Fox

Eternally young musician, Jarvis Cocker shows some silver hairs attending the Opening Gala for The Times BFI London Film Festival afterparty for the premiere of Fantastic Mr. Fox held at Saatchi Gallery on October 14, 2009 in London, England. His son, Albert (left) is a miniature version of his father in Jarvis’ signature blazer, floppy hairdo and bold eyeglasses. Cocker composed songs for Fantastic Mr Fox, and plays the part of Petey in this Wes Anderson adaptation of the Roald Dahl story of the same name.
Director, Wes Anderson is stylistically embodied in Mr Fox, himself, wearing a carmel-colored cord suit for the press conference. You may, in fact see Mr. Fox and his furry friends wearing staples from Andersons closet. Bow-ties, striped neck ties and a sense of formalism are at play in the directors wardrobe and in his characters costumes. Anderson collaborates with his stable of preferred actors, Jason Schwartzman, Bill Murray, Willem DaFoe, Adrian Brody and Owen Wilson for a story that was at one time criticized for its socialist subtext. Known for his obsessive eye for aesthetic detail, Anderson has undoubtedly lavished attention on the production design of this very different film. Fantastic Mr Fox will most likely delight our eyes. See what wardrobe items might be borrowed from Anderson’s closet here.
