Starship Log: Chris Pine is Hot

Star Trek the movie opened May 7th and was #1 at the box office this weekend -totaling 76.5 million dollars . Actor Chris Pine (pictured left) boldly goes where only one man has gone before. He plays Captain Kirk, the iconic character originally brought to life by actor William Shatner (picture right) over 40 years ago. This film has been much anticipated among die hard Star Trek fans and the ‘new generations’ alike . As of today, the film holds a 95% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Shatner is said to have given Pine his approval when he landed the role. Do you think Pine succeeded in his mission? While I haven’t made the trek to the theater yet, he definitely succeeded in looking out of this world. Kirk, out!
