Models graced the runway wearing swimsuits by Purpure on Wednesday at the Casa de Criadores Fashion Show in Sao Paulo, Brazil.  While everyone is getting their closets ready for summer, Lady Gaga (pictured below) has gained a lot of attention from her signature pantsless outfits no matter the season.  What do you think of Lady Gaga’s pantsless look?  Should it be a trend on the street or stick to the pool?

Asymmetric is no longer just for necklines. A party in the front, formal in the back approach to the mini dress is being spotted on the red carpet. Princess Diana, in a gown by Christina Stambolian, wore it June of 1994 to the Serpentine Gallery, London. Recently, The New York Times published a piece about an unlikely yoga master, a former drug addict living in Los Angeles,  teaching hoards of eager students, some of whom are in the public eye.  Heather Graham, Robert Downey Jr., and David Duchovny are counted amongst them, which led to our curiosity about other famous yogis.  Marg Helgenberger was photographed, early in her acting career doing  a handstand, and Marylin Monroe is pictured doing a bow pose (below).

We’ve seen plenty of candid shots showing actresses with their mats in hand, leaving the yoga studio, but who is a serious yoga practitioner? Russell Simmons is a devoted yogi with a strong connection to the Jivamukti studio in Manhattan and Degrassi High’s “Liz” (Cathy Keenan) is a yoga teacher in Toronto. Actress Mariel Hemingway owns a yoga studio in Sun Valley, Idaho and credits the stability she has found in her life to the practice of this ancient discipline.   Let’s take a look at some more famous devotees here.

Pixie has opted out of the bald brow aesthetic and she actually looks quite striking in cropped peroxide blonde and near black lipstick, but if the dark lipstick trends’  life cycle is anything like that of distressed denim, you will be seeing some terrible appropriations in suburban malls in a few years.
