Rachel Bilson (left) came to The Whitney Contemporaries Art Party in New York last night, bandaged in a champagne halter mini-dress by Herve Leger. It’s possible we have never seen this much of Rachel in public before and while the amazing dress hugs every curve and bares a fair share, it is still a tasteful and classic choice. What else would we expect of a woman who has a strong track record for regret-less ensembles? Bilson gravitates towards clean lines and neutral colors and this dress is certainly in keeping with her taste.

Halter dresses are a staple of summer wear, but this minimalist, body hugging variety brings to mind the pared down, body-conscious dresses of the mid-1990′s. Sex kitten, Angie Dickinson poses in 1961′s hot halter number (right). Do you like the body bearing Bilson?
