Norton: Looking Great In Green

Bored in the office? Check out this new trailer for Universal’s sort-of ‘sequel’ to Ang Lee’s misguided adaptation of Marvel’s “Hulk” comic. Remember that movie? Eric Bana chewing it up with some rough, overpriced CGI and a teary Jennifer Connelly? This film looks to be an improvement, though how it ever got made is beyond me, considering the bomb that was Hulk.
The Incredible Hulk sees Edward Norton take the reigns as Hulk/Bruce Banner, Liv Tyler portraying sexy damsel Betty Ross, and French director Louis Leterrier (the Transporter movies) taking over at the helm. The trailer looks pretty cool, though several media sources (including a story from trusty ‘ol Nikke Finke) are reporting that Norton and Marvel are feuding over the final edit. Norton was given unprecedented control over the film, including a re-write of the script, but now Marvel is battling some of his choices.
Movie fans are already approaching this project with trepidation after the disappointment of Hulk. It would be wise for Universal to keep this little war under wraps…
