Über-model Liya Kebede brought her mini muse – daughter Raee – to the launch of her children’s clothing line Lemlem at Yoya in New York City. Lemlem means “to bloom” in Amharic, a Semitic language from Kebede’s home country of Ethiopia. The collection is designed for newborns to pre-teens and will be manufactured in Africa, combining traditional weaving and embroidery techniques with modern silhouettes. Will you be dressing your kids in Lemlem?
