Joel and Ethan Coen received another major accolade for their bleak modern western “No Country for Old Men” this weekend with victory at the 2008 Producers Guild Awards. With high honors from the DGA, SAG, and the Critics Choice Awards, “No Country” is almost certain to take home Best Picture at the Academy Awards on February 24. That Golden Globe win for “Atonement” is looking more and more like a fluke, but with the 2005 “Crash” victory still fresh on everyone’s mind like a recent bout of debilitating nausea, anything could happen.
