While low-rise jeans is the trend that will never die, skinny jeans—the other end of the spectrum—sometimes feel like leggings. At yesterday’s TRL appearance in New York City, Ciara hit the perfect balance of slim fit and the wide-leg trend with her high-waisted jeans—perfectly balancing the look with patent cherry-red shoes, slim belt, and Edwardian collared/ puffy sleeved blouse. Maybe mom was right after all?
