Introducing Robert Cianflone – MotoGP Photographer

September 15, 2006 | By Robert Cianflone | Creative

Hello, I’m Getty Images photographer Robert Cianflone, and I will be covering the 2006 GMC Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island from 15-17 September, 2006. Throughout the event, I’ll bring bring you all the action, highlighting the key moments and amazing images that come from the event. I have shot for Getty Images for almost eight years and have developed a great love for motorsport, especially rally, formula one and motorbikes. My other great passion is football and earlier this year I travelled with the Australian team to the FIFA World Cup in Germany, covering the highs and lows of the team’s amazing ride! Today, I’m selecting two striking images from last year’s event as a preview to the action ahead:

The view from a part of the track known as “Siberia.” The coastline and the views are like no other race ciruit in the world.

I am wondering whether I can buy any of the photos of Bon Jovi when he did his tour in Melbourne, Australia? I just want them to put them in my photo album not for any other use. The photographer was Robert Cianflone, Getty.
    Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Dominique and thanks for checking. Getty Images is a business to business enterprise and we don’t have personal use licenses for our editorial or other rights managed images. However, our sister site,, is a consumer site and they offer a large percent of our content. If the image you seek is on the site, you can make one print for your personal use, and there are a few other options for you there when you click to enlarge the image. Hope this is helpful.
